Are You Selling Your Home? - Then Stage it

Once your home has been listed, you may have to deal with numerous and often inconvenient showings, which then leave you waiting for an offer.  A faster sale can help limit these multiple showings, which are unappealing due to the continuous interruptions they cause to your life.  A new concept often used in model home decorating called staging, is similarly being used in the resale of a home, which involves decorating the home to effectively highlight all the home’s beauty and functionality.

A home can be effectively staged in most cases by using attractive window coverings, upgraded light fixtures, artwork, accessories, a little paint, and the proper placement of furniture.  This will not only help you get the best price, but also help you sell your home quicker, as buyers are attracted to well-maintained and decorated homes.  By using a professional interior design consultant, and spending a relatively small amount of money, you may be able to sell you home faster and close to your asking price.  The interior design consultant will give you advice on what to remove or rearrange, and what window covers and light fixtures to buy.  Although reorganizing your home and removing personal items may seem overwhelming, it will give you a head start on packing for your move.
